Starting with Rieti’s famous Vespasian Theater, the city’s excellence, there are other places of culture that the Muse experience aims to suggest to the visitor. Among these are the many museums that bear witness to the area’s rural tradition and the ancient civilizations that thrived here; important in this regard is the Civic Archaeological Museum of Trebula Mutuesca in Monteleone Sabino, which preserves very important artifacts from the Roman age. Other excellences are represented by the territorial Ecomuseum of Salto and Turano, and the famous International Nativity Museum in Greccio.

Antrodoco
In Antrodoco, located in the ancient convent of Santa Chiara, is the Lin Delija-Carlo Cesi City Museum. It was inaugurated in 2002, the museum exhibits works granted by generous private collectors, and was born with the idea of bringing into dialogue the works of two artists linked to Antrodoco and sacred art: Carlo Cesi and Lin Delija. The first was an Antrodocan painter and engraver (1626-1686), the second an Albanian artist who lived and worked in Antrodoco (1926-1994).

The Salto and Turano Territorial Ecomuseum is managed by the Monte Navegna and Cervia Regional Nature Reserve Authority and is spread over several locations: Collalto Sabino is home to the Interpretation Center, the Ecomuseum Star Center and the archaeological area of Monte San Giovanni with the church of San Giovanni in Fistola; Nespolo is home to the Educational Mola; Collegiove is home to the church of Santa Maria and Visitor Center, and the Monumental Chestnut Groves educational area; Varco Sabino is home to the Labter; and finally Monte Antuni (Castel di Tora) is home to the Environmental Education Center.

Collegiove
Marcetelli is home to the Museum for the Recovery of Peasant Civilization. The center was established with the aim of handing down and recounting the tradition of peasant life in the area. The collection consists of working objects and tools, as well as documents, games, and clothing donated by the citizens themselves.

Frasso Sabino
In Frasso Sabino, inside a renovated 18th-century mill is the Virginio Cesarini Astronomical Observatory. Inside there is a permanent exhibition on the subject of astronomy, a planetarium and a telescope. The observatory was dedicated to Virginio Cesarini, a Sabine nobleman who participated in the founding of the Accademia dei Lincei.
Greccio
The International Museum of the Crib of Greccio is housed in the ancient church of Santa Maria and in an adjacent building, carefully restored, on a panoramic hill at the entrance to the historic center of Greccio. The collection includes many cribs that testify to different styles and cultures.

Labro
The Labro Municipal Theater was built in the space between the attics of the church and the Chapel of San Pancrazio. It has a particular stalls, sloping long and narrow. It hosts shows, first of all those of the Labro festival held every August, but also conferences and exhibitions.

Leonessa
The Mauro Zelli Civic Museum of Leonessa is housed in a marvelous former convent annexed to the Church of San Francesco, which belonged to the Franciscan Order until 1809. The demoanthropological museum has a virtual section dedicated to the collection of oral testimonies and historical photographs of local people, and an archaeological section that preserves the finds discovered following the excavations on the Leonessa plateau.

Marcetelli
In Marceltelli there is a small museum that passes down and exhibits the ancient art of circle making. Until the 1950s, the activity of the Cerchiari, who worked the wood from the nearby forests and repaired or built barrels and vats, was a source of livelihood for the town. The museum displays tools of the trade, “planes”, “togas”, “circles”, “cortellu elle toe” and “segarellu” donated by the inhabitants of Marcetelli themselves to preserve the memory of an important tradition.

Micigliano
In Micigliano you can visit the Civic Museum of Popular Traditions. The office is located near the Municipality, and exhibits various testimonies of civilization and of the agricultural and pastoral tradition of the area. The museum itinerary moves from the agricultural environment, linked to the fields, mountains and woods, with an exhibition of ancient plows, rakes and various agricultural tools; to the crafts of the blacksmith and carpenter, and concludes with a domestic environment: the kitchen with the fireplace. Finally, a photographic section of the museum collects various historical images.

Mompeo
A church in Mompeo houses the headquarters of the San Carlo Auditorium. The church was dedicated to St. Charles, as the epigraph reads. The Auditorium hosts a variety of events; it seats 80 inside in a room with a sound system and video projection equipment. Outside, on the other hand, a small amphitheater can accommodate about 100 people.
Paganico Sabino
In Paganico Sabino there is the San Nicola exhibition hall next to the parish church. The space houses two rooms, in the first some liturgical furnishings are collected, in the second there is a permanent exhibition on the country’s civilisation: a collection of objects and tools collected in the area since the end of the 1980s is on display.

Monteleone Sabino
The Trebula Mutuesca museum in Monteleone Sabino exhibits various archaeological finds from the nearby site of Sabine origin. The museum develops a path that tells the visitor about the pre-Roman age and the Roman age of the area, then there is an epigraphic section and a last one dedicated to the sanctuary of Santa Vittoria.

Poggio San Lorenzo
The Capofarfa oil mill dates back to the seventeenth century and has belonged to the Agamemnon family ever since. Inside, a museum itinerary has been created, following which one can enter an ancient aqueduct from the 2nd century AD, admire the base of a Roman-era olive press and a stone millstone from 1850. Inside the mill, the The millstones currently in operation date back to 1940 and in the months of November and December you can smell the freshly extracted oil from these old millstones.

Rocca Sinibalda
The Agapito Miniucchi Museum in Rocca Sinibalda is dedicated to the artist born here in 1923. Agapito created sculptural works using wood, stone and iron. One of his stone works is located in the center of the gardens of Piazza della Vittoria, which is overlooked by the Museum headquarters, while other works are kept in the Castle of Rocca Sinibalda.

Rocca Sinibalda
The diffuse Museum of Peasant Traditions was established in 2015 in the hamlet of Posticciola in the municipality of Rocca Sinibalda. The collection originated from donations made by residents and natives of the place, which provided working tools from ancient times, and has been implemented over time, including by some significant purchases of objects found in the area. In recent years, the village has also been enriched by 8 murals that attract the interest of tourists.
Turania
The Turania and Turano Valley Museum of Contemporary Art was established in 1998. It preserves more than one hundred paintings, sculptures, medals, and various works by artists of international fame such as De Chirico, Sironi, Mastroianni, and Mirò. In addition, numerous period artifacts and photos are also preserved here. It is located in the municipal building of Turania.
